What forms of payment are accepted?
La Plantation is a private-pay community. For those who use our assisted living services, some long-term care insurance policies as well as veterans VA benefits may cover part or all of those costs. Our staff can assist you with necessary paperwork to start the claims process.
Are the rooms furnished?
All rooms have a full-size refrigerator, a two-burner stove and a microwave. We encourage our residents to personalize their space to make it their own and to create a feeling of home.
What does the community offer to keep residents busy?
We understand that in order to live life fully, one must engage with others in ways that are healthy, fun and entertaining. That’s why we offer a variety of activities and events every day – from exercise classes to games to Bible study, we nourish the body, mind and spirit!
Do you have staff on-site 24/7?
Yes. There is always someone available if you have any questions or concerns or need assistance with a medical emergency or issue.
What types of emergency call system do you have for the residents?
There are emergency call lights in the every apartment and in all common area bathrooms.
Do you do medication reminders?
No, but we do have resources to offer for medication administration.
Do you have an evacuation plan?
Resident safety is Priority One at La Plantation, which is why we have emergency call systems in every room. In case of an emergency, we do have an evacuation plan in place and will work diligently to help ensure every resident is safe.
Do the residents have a curfew or visiting hours?
As we welcome people who want to live life as independently as possible, residents do not have curfews and are free to come and go as they please. We welcome visitors and do not have set visiting hours. We do ask that you be mindful of other residents and especially roommates when choosing to visit your loved one.
Do you have Internet access?
Yes we do provide a wireless network for our residents and visitors.
